You must meet these requirements to obtain your WI CCW Permit:

-- Be 21 years of age or older

-- Not prohibited from possessing a firearm under state or

   federal law

--  Not ordered as a condition of bail or release in a criminal

    case from possessing a dangerous weapon

--  Be a Wisconsin resident

--  Have provided proof of the in-person firearms training required for a license (This is what our CCW Class provides!)

 

What will I learn in class?

You will learn the following topics in our CCW class:

  • Firearms Safety & Storage

  • Wisconsin Concealed Carry Law

  • Self Defense & Incident Avoidance

  • Wisconsin's Castle Doctrine

  • Types of Handguns

  • Proper grip, stance, and sight picture when shooting

  • Handgun carry options

  • How to safely load and unload a revolver and a semi-automatic pistol

  • Different ammunition types

You will be provided with a take home training manual and paper for note taking.  Please bring a writing utensil and/or a highlighter with you.

NO FIREARMS OR LIVE AMMUNITION OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASS!  PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION WITH YOU.
